Buttons and Switches

November 4, 2009

Many of you know this already: blogs have a lot of options.  The process of setting things up here is taking a while, and that’s all right.  I’m not in a hurry, or rather, it doesn’t matter whether I am or not.  Sometimes it takes a few days, or longer, to decide if I like something one way or another.  This picture?  That picture.  This arrangement for links?  No, the cleaner one.

And so forth.

If I had droves of people here, I would feel more reticent about shoving things around.  Consistency has value.  Life has enough unpredictable aspects as it is, so why move buttons around on folks?  Since I am blessedly free of the burdens of readership at this moment, though, I can move the furniture around with the abandon of someone in their first loft.
