Sliding into chapter three

Very soon now.  Going back and detailing bits in the first two chapters as things gel for me…in the story and in general.  The house is livable for now, if not optimal, but the old house needs all the attention we can give it in the next week before we can list it and get out from under.

Jeffrey Ricker, one of the mainstays of my writers’ group, is getting his novel published.  It’s a fine day to be a writer from WUTA.

My son passed the swimming test at the U. City pool and can now officially jump off the high dive.  If nothing else, he’s going to be more comfortable in the water than me.  One hopes this won’t lead to him becoming a surfer dude.
