I built my first novel manuscript around a vignette I had in a dream, a strange, Gothic-tinged dream that stuck with me after I woke up. In the world of writing, this is known as a “freebie.”

I had another dream last night of similar usefulness. Wrote down some notes this morning, including things that occurred to me after I woke about it. For some reason it’s telling me “screenplay,” or more precisely, “miniseries.” I find this notion disturbing, but I’m going to inquire with my friends who do that sort of thing about software/templates for screenplays. I downloaded something years back but think it got purged at some point.

Nice to have something queued up for when I get done with what I’m working on now.
