I need one. I thought, hey, only two plot main plot strands and a bad guy sidebar, I can do this…no, no I can’t.

Breaking out the spreadsheet, setting the day-to-day flow, lining up chapters…it’s like my second novel all over again. I didn’t need this for the faerie stuff.

It’s probably good for me, though. Right? Right?

WUTA is settling into the new (to us) SLAG facilities. We even know where the extra chairs are, thanks to an attentive new member. The current plan is to start up our monthly meetings with a holiday-themed reading next month, and then go into a regular cycle of craft/marketing/reading meetings. I’m still enthusiastic.

And a Shout Out for Jeffrey Ricker, whose Detours is now available at finer bookstores everywhere, and probably too. A great, funny, thoughtful read.
