I hope they let me fly

March 28, 2012

The past few weeks I’ve done searches on the following for the current short story:

Videos of silenced .22 caliber pistols firing
Articles on fertilizer/fuel oil bombs
Arabic names and forms of address
Islamic jurisprudence as it applies to separation of genders and suicide

And I’ve spent a lot of time on Google Earth looking at high-profile bits of London.

Already practicing my side of the conversation: “It’s called fiction. You may have heard about it on TV.”

Perfect! Reminds me of the joke about the arab-american who wanted a tilled garden plot in his back yard so he sends emails/text messages about explosives buried there. Government did all his work for him.
