So apart from setting up the new desk, what have I been doing when I should have been blogging the past few weeks?
Week of February 25–my lovely wife is out of town on business much of the week, meaning I have to make sure my wonderful child does not set the cats on fire.
Weeks of March 4–devoted much free time to planning a vacation for the summer. Too much, maybe. It’s eerily job-like.
Week of March 11–some sort of weird ear issue going on. Ringing in one ear, sometimes loud enough to wake me up at night. Hearing test indicates unilateral loss of high-frequency hearing in that ear for reasons unknown. Going back for more tests soon. Taking bets on whether an MRI is involved.
This week–Spring Break. Wonderful son at two different camps, twenty miles apart, morning and afternoon. Running shuttle service.
I have manged to write, though not as much as usual. The blog, on the other hand, lives on the surface of the time bubble, and has suffered from neglect as other responsibilities and issues interfered.
Things should start getting back to normal this weekend. I hope.
